Well, numerous people have asked me in recent months whether I've struck them off my Travel Updates e-mails. Why would I do such a thing? I have to admit , though, that it has been ages - maybe a year - since I did send out one of those mammoth mail updates. And because of my lack of word-control and conciseness (spelling??) I had decided that things were becoming a little arduous to "have" to maintain the updates. So I stopped! Despite having continued with some (an under-statement) business and pleasure travels in 2010.
As people have asked about the travel updates I've also been asked why I don't just update my news on a blog. Why on earth would I want to do that? And furthermore - as I've heard most Blogger's dilemma - why would anyone want to bother reading MY blogging updates?
Anyway, long story short (if that's possible when I start putting "pen-to-paper", in January 2009 the dilemma and hot topic was "to Face Book or not to Face Book".
In January 2011 my new technology update attempt is "to BLOG or NOT to BLOG". (Best I don't leave the "L" out of BLOG, else I'll be a VERY uncomfortable bloke!!

And to all who might ever decide to read ... good luck. "DrivelByDerek" is likely to be a bizarre meander through a maze that leads nowhere (assuming it remains updated)!!
Watch out 2011 ...
... the year I turn 40!
... the year my Dad turns 80!
... the year my eldest niece gets married (before me - no surprise!!)
... the year of another epic Canadian holiday with the folks!
